Angelo Pascariello: recnsione of "soul divided into two" Fiore Marro
"A soul divided into two", the debut of my fellow Fiore Marro, is a literary work which I am sure it will be useful to enrich even more aware of the City of San Nicola la Strada beyond provincial and regional growth by contributing to the socio-cultural life of our community, primarily for our children.
It is, in effect, a novel that goes to the root of our history, a story that can be understood with care and pleasure, pages Fiore Marro wrote with the passion of those who believe in what we're doing: a strong recovery cultural and historical memory of Southern Italy.
"A soul divided in two: a story that develops in the aftermath of the unification of Italy, from 1860 up to the early twentieth century, in which the vicissitudes Marro as a pretext of a man, Michael Pace, who travels in search of their roots after his family was destroyed by an impetuous and violent civil war.
I want to highlight how, in the wanderings of this man, destroyed by grief, the author brings out the particular ethical values \u200b\u200bwhich are now unduly neglected because of an evil that should not progress at all in opposition to what is the healthy growth that each of us tends to achieve what end of their lives. Reading, therefore, "A soul divided in two," and we have to rediscover these ideals, so making daily reminder to our actions.
Angelo Pascariello
Mayor of San Nicola la Strada
